Una canzone al giorno - 17 - TINA TURNER: The best

Una delle mie canzoni preferite (😍) che, ho scoperto solo oggi, è in realtà una cover! Che "mazzata"😂! La versione che ho scelto, quella di Tina Turner, è uscita nel 1989, un anno dopo la versione originale pubblicata da Bonnie Tyler e mi piace tutto: musica e parole ma soprattutto il sassofono che per me è sempre un valore aggiunto nelle canzoni!

beh, due interpretazioni (e voci) completamente diverse in cui per me, ancora una volta, a vincere è la cover cantata dalla Turner. 

Ma visto che non c'è due senza tre ho scoperto anche che di "The Best" Tina Turner ha fatto una nuova versione, in duetto, nel 1992 con Jimmy Barnes! Cosa ne penso? Be il sassofono è stato sostituito da un assolo di chitarra elettrica e la voce di Barnes non mi sembra male ma... si sente solo Tina, l'unica e vera the best della canzone! Loro però nel video sembrano essersi divertiti un sacco:
