Una canzone al giorno - 16 - SAVAGE GARDEN: Truly madly deeply

Una delle mie canzoni preferite (la Titti mi prende in giro perché dice che le mie preferite sono tantissime ma questa davvero è in cima alla mia lista) e che per molti anni è stata al posto più alto. 

"Truly madly deeply" è incastonata nella mia mente a ricordarmi, come fosse ieri, un momento preciso della mia vita: le panche del tram 23. 

E' una cosa che mi capita spesso con le canzoni: riescono ad attaccarsi ai miei ricordi indelebilmente, facendomi rivivere quelle situazioni come se mi stessero accadendo ancora nel momento dell'ascolto!

E quindi quando parte la canzone del duo australiano, torno proprio indietro nel tempo a quel 1997 in cui ero una ragazzina che prendeva tutte le mattine il 23 per andare a scuola e guardavo sognante uno dei

miei amori impossibili. Che tenerezza mi fa pensare alle panche lisce e al mio tentativo di trovare posto vicino a chi mi piaceva per scivolargli addosso! Oppure spesso stavo in piedi, alla fine tram, e guardavo fuori, sempre con la musica con le orecchie, spesso con Truly madly deeply messa in loop, fantasticando sul mio futuro. "Oh quant'è bella giovinezza che si fugge tuttavia..."
